Loafers bouncing off recently polished hardwood floors -
The Dog was not present.

How does one explain one’s motives ? It seems to me a Sisyphean task -
As soon as someone comes to understand one’s motives, it means those motives have made a transition, like a spark to an engine - And those motives are no longer expressly yours, but rather a shared experience, which is you know fine I guess but if you’re not gong to finish eating those fries can I have them ?
